Occupational Health and Safety Policy Statement

 

It is the policy of Amcoweld to demonstrate and ongoing and determined commitment to improve Health and Safety standards throughout the organization.

Amcoweld will carry out its activities in a way that provides healthy and safe working conditions for those involved in and affected by its activities by integrating Health and Safety into all its activities.

Every employee has health and safety responsibilities and is required to comply with Amcoweld policies. Appropriate information, training and supervision WILL be provided to ensure that all employees are competent to carry out their duties and responsibilities and are committed to implementing this policy.

Amcoweld will:

Ensure all levels of management undertake health and safety tours.

Ensure hazards and associated risks are reduced, maintaining an approach of evaluating and reviewing processes and systems to ensure that improvements are identified and introduced.

Ensuring a system is in place for any employee to raise health and safety concerns about any aspect of Amcoweld business which would be discussed and all employees and sub- contractors are aware of this charter.

Ensuring we will work only with companies who can and do seek to meet our standards or assist us through training consultation and supervision to come up to their standards.

Require suppliers and sub-contractors to be proactive in demonstrating their commitment to the management of health and safety and demonstrating compliance to health and safety standards.
